Gather moving supplies

Disassemble the pool table
First of all, take out the staples and remove the table’s six-ball pockets. Then, use a socket wrench and tackle the pool table’s side rails. When you unscrew the bolts, gently remove each side rail. To remove the felt on the top, you will have to use a staple remover to remove each side properly. And now, you will have to remove your pool table’s slates. Don’t forget that those slates are heavy, VERY heavy, so you might consider getting some extra help.
Protect all parts
Before you decide to load a pool table in the moving truck, use moving blankets and wrap each part to prevent any damages. You can also use bubble wrapping. Make sure that you are loading slates carefully since they are extremely heavy and very delicate.
Reassemble the pool table
While disassembling can be easy, reassembling can be kinda tricky. You should assemble everything back together in the opposite way you took it apart. With the help of a friend or two, your pool table will be assembled fast and ready to use again!
